Kristen Stewart will not be ‘Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’

Sony are continuing their search for the perfect female to play the role of Lisbeth Salander, in the movie “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” but it seems that Kristen Stewart has not made the cut.

The Stieg Larsson book is one of the greatest selling novels in the world in recent years and it has already been made into a movie in Sweden. However for the Sony version of the movie Daniel Craig (of James Bond fame) has been lined up to play the lead male role, Mikael Blomkvist.

Though many though that Kristen Stewart or, perhaps Ellen Page (from “Juno” and “Inception”) would perfect a source has told E! that Sony does not seem to think so.

“Kristen Stewart is being considered [for the role], but she has not screen-tested…It looks like she may be out of the running because of Twilight scheduling conflicts,” said the source.

Kristen Stewart has been giving Robert Pattinson sexy lap-dances — according to a new report.

America’s OK! magazine says Kristen — who’s widely rumored to be dating her hunky British Twilight star — has been practicing the art of striptease since taking lessons for her upcoming film Welcome to the Rileys.

In the film, Kristen plays a prostitute/stripper.

“Kristen isn’t just good, she’s great with the sexy moves,” a source said.

“She admits to friends she feels super sexy when she gyrates to the music and struts around.

“Rob already thought Kris was the sexiest woman in the world, but the first time she offered him a lap dance, he couldn’t believe his luck.”

Kristen Stewart Passed Over For Big Movie Role?

Kristen Stewart is apparently out of the running to play the female lead in the much-anticipated American version of “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.”

The role of Lisbeth Salander is a juicy role in what is sure to be a high-profile project, and every young actress in Hollywood is positively salivating to play the part. K-Stew was considered by many to be perfect actress for the tough, brainy heroine, and was indeed long rumored to be in serious contention to land the role.

But something happened along the way, and Stewart is no longer on the list. Recent Oscar-nominee Carey Mulligan, another rumored contender, has also recently declared that she is also no longer in the running.

Other names that are reportedly still high on the list are Natalie Portman, Mia Wasikowska (“Alice in Wonderland”) and, our favorite actress for the part, Ellen Page.

As for Stewart, she’ll have to be happy with playing Marylou, the female lead in the big-screen version of Jack Kerouac’s classic “On the Road.” And, of course, Bella in “Breaking Dawn,” which begins filming in the fall.

Kristen Stewart‘s co-star Robert Pattinson has occasionally makes him uncomfortable because of her directness on set.

“Kristen is always really good but also clearly speaks her mind. That can be a bit uncomfortable. After we shoot a scene she sometimes looks at the director and says: ‘Let’s do that again’,” the actor revealed. “If I did that she would probably kill me! She would probably say something like, ‘Shut up! The scene was perfect!’ “

Could Kristen Stewart Fill Angelina Jolie’s Shoes in a Wanted Sequel?

Even though Kristen Stewart is one busy actress – between promoting Eclipse and filming the two-part Breaking Dawn – fans are already talking about what she’ll do next.

For months, speculation has been rampant that Stewart is being considered to take over Angelina Jolie‘s role in the sequel to 2008?s action-filled assassin flick Wanted.

It’s just talk for now, but Stewart says she’d consider the role. “Yes. Definitely, as long as it was really good, ” she tells MTV News. “Wanted was a great movie … James McAvoy makes that movie different than most other action movies because he’s a real guy, and I feel most action movies don’t have that. But I wouldn’t just want to be in a mindless, blow-up movie. I’m not into it.”

Once it was reported that Jolie would not return for the Wanted sequel, rumors began circulating that the script would be rewritten to portray her character, Fox, at a young age, setting the stage for Stewart to take over. Director Timur Bekmambetov and Universal studios have not confirmed these rumors.

Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart-Taylor-Bound by wings of love?

With the third part of Twilight-Eclipse all set to hit the screen on June 30th ,the heat is becoming unbearable and we can’t wait to see our favorite vampire and his lady love bringing pure magic to the screen.

It has been said that in Eclipse Bella will have to make the toughest decision of her life – whether she wants the love of Edward or the friendship of Jacob. And it a decision which has got enough spark to create a violent war between the
vampires and the werewolves.

Now this cliffhanger has made me think what would have I done if was Bella? Well of course the decision would not have come easy but still I think I would have chosen Edward, for the pure and simple reason that I love Edward. Of course some might argue that a decision should be practical rather than emotional but as a person I just think the opposite.

I always believe in taking decisions from the heart rather than the mind and this will also be reflected in my decision of choosing Edward.What would have you done if you were in Bella’s place?

Kristen Stewart Pulls Jack-Moves On Angelina Jolie For Her Roles

Actress Kristen Stewart isn’t shy about wanting one of Angelina Jolie’s former roles and says she’s willing to fill her shoes at the drop of a hat if the opportunity becomes available. The coveted role, Kristen Stewart is referencing is Angelina Jolie‘s role in the action film Wanted.

According to information coming down the pipeline, producers are casting for a sequel to the movie Wanted starring James Mcavoy as the lead, and Angelina Jolie has already turned down an offer to play longside James McAvoy as his action sidekick. In a recent interview with MTV, Kristen Stewart clearly states that she has no qualms taking over the role that Angelina Jolie has left open, as long as the script is any good:

“I would definitely take the role, as long as it was a good and I mean, it’s really exciting to see that as an opportunity. Wanted was a great movie. James McAvoy makes that movie different from most other actionmovies because he’s a real guy – you’re so with him. I feel like most action movies don’t have that. So if it had that, definitely. But I wouldn’t just want to be in a mindless blow-up movie. I’m not into it.”
