Before RPatz’s “Remember Me” releases on March 12th, Rpatz’s on-screen and alleged off-screen lady love is set to rock the screen again with her new film “The Yellow Handkerchief”.

The film is set to release next week and is Directed by Udayan Prasad and produced by Academy Award Winning Producer Arthur Cohn.

Kristen Stewart plays the character of a troubled 15-year old character Martine who escaped from her family and meets the character of Eddie Redmayne. The film also co-stars Academy Award Winner William Hurt and Maria Bello. The film is said to be loosely based on a short story by writer Peter Hamill.

The story records the tale of an Ex-convict Brett Hanson who is released from Prison after six years. Struggling to reconcile himself with his disastrous past, he embarks on a journey to his home of Southern Louisiana to reunite with the ex-wife he left behind, May (Maria Bello). Along this journey, he meets two teenagers: Martine (Kristen Stewart) and Gordy (Eddie Redmayne) as they embark on a road trip through post-Hurricane Katrina Louisiana.

The film made its appearance on Sundance Film Festival in 2008 but failed to get a wide release but now thanks to Samuel Goldwyn Films, the film will be released next week.
